I'm sure LSU fans here will agree with you that the head coach doesn't do much.

Monte was making over $1 mil. If they have to pay that for Chow as well, that's alot of change to drop for coordinators.

If by "staff" you mean a real dick, then sure, I'll agree with you.

God, Tennessee will be horrible next year!

I believe USC will be bankrupt after all of this. They are going to pay a crazy amount of money to these arse clowns. after they have to give the NCAA back all the money from the 04 and 05 BCS games because Bush will be declaired ineligable, they won't have a pot left to piss in. It's really going to be a sad day when the NCAA takes away your ONLY crystal ball from your "dynasty"

USC has the $$$, Their alumn list is impressive. Still, that's alot to pay a coaching staff, even if they have it. Probation is the issue, and it could be severe. Pete Carrol had it made it USC; I don't think that it's a coincidence that he bolted for the NFL.

Isn't bringing Kiffin into the USC fold this year signing off on both sanctions and losing to UCLA?

If Chow stays at UCLA will you feel so good?

I'd guess not...

But USC with Monty Kiffen running the D, Norm running the O, and Orgeron being the recruiter, it might be hard to find a better combination in college football.

Lane can just be a figure head.

Sanctions - that's a whole different ball game that will need to be played out.
