What is so special about Lincoln Riley? I’m not a big follower of NCAA football anymore, so if my question seems absurd, I apologize. All I know is Oklahoma usually wins 10 or 11 games a year, never has a great defense, and gets trounced in the post season. If he’s a great young coach, offensive genius, and the 2nd best recruiter in the land, I get that. Is he?

The difference between those scenarios and now?
Alleva was the AD then, Woodward is the AD now.
You bring Woodward in to make these exact types of hires, it makes too much sense in how everything has played out especially with such radio silence from the OU side and no extension being even offered (at least publicly)
