Why do people think he would he a bad fit at VT besides not having a lot of recruiting experience in that area?

I think a lot of their fans want a bigger name and they're nervous about how well Chadwell would recruit. Their main complaint about Fuente was his lack of recruiting and don't want to go down a similar road.

Meh. VT’s hire for head coach doesn’t have to come with those connections. A smart guy who’s a savvy recruiter will hire the right staff and build those connections with their help. Fuente was too proud or wrapped up in his own way of doing things and too loyal to his guys to do that.
