Predict when we see a market correction on NIL deals

At the moment, it appears that some of these highly rated kids are just following the money, and going to the best program that offers the best deal.
This is not sustainable obviously. We will start seeing an arms race for NIL deals but there will be a collapse. Companies can’t justify throwing tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars to kids based on high school hype.
My prediction is in 5 years we see these kids will not be making what they are this year and next due to so many busts.

Who are the players & what deals are they getting? Please be specific

It’s already happening.
There’s very little actual businesses paying players. It happened early due to the novelty, but there’s very little value 99 percent of players can bring to a business.
Schools are organizing slush funds for fake NIL deals, or boosters are just paying players and calling it NIL.
True NIL is a farce.

The fact that a guy like ricks didn't get any nil money shows me there's a problem somewhere.

The idea that there was this untapped market out there for players to make a bunch of money was always bullshite.
Sure a Joe Burrow can make some cash, but few others offer any real value.
If a school has to manufacture NIL deals, then the player has no value.
Let’s just admit it’s sanctioned cheating.

It may be what allows USC to finally become relevant again. That's why they gave Riley an insane deal. between that and SOCAL behind NIL deals, Riley will have his pick of who he wants. Not only that they may establish themselves as national appeal once again recruiting poor kids from the south to be funneled to allure of big NIL deals straight out of HS. They have a unique opportunity to take advantage of the Hollywood NIL. It will be the best thing to ever happen to USC.

USC has been way behind the rest of college football on every new advancement. From analysts, to marketing, to graphics to recruiting staff.
Less than a year ago, Tom Lugenbill said their entire recruiting operation was a joke.
Why do we think all that’s about to change?

Did you just see the deal they gave Riley? I'd imagine you don't do that unless you get serious with football.

He probably didn't get any deals because he is a prima donna and it showed up in negotiating. Kid probably turned off every business. Besides, he was rumored to be transferring last summer. The businesses backed off. Watch Ewers isn't going to get any decent deals because he already screwed a bunch of people. Only deals will be payoffs to come to school.

I wonder how much Neighbors Federal Credit Union gave Brian Thomas?

Sure, Stingley was such a good investment for any company.

Hopefully this is sarcasm. This has nothing to do with the free market.

Lol don’t hate America.. what I’m asking is when companies make the decision to not pay as much because it’s not worth it.
Not asking for some cap or government intervention.

I wish people would quit trying to make their argument that it's about the value that the player brings to the company. It has nothing to do with that. Like many people on here have already said it's just the way to legally funnel the money to players
