In the last two years has he has lost more games than Bill O'Brien did in Happy Valley (while on probation).
$85 million over 10 years ($70 million guaranteed)

Shoutout to Jimmy Sexton

The $95 million Tucker deal was even more ridiculous. And, most years, these teams are just fighting for second in the B1G East.

He only has to win 8 games next year for a new extension

Atonement for Joe Pa and Sandusky

Schools play with monopoly money. It's ridiculous.

Franklin is a head scratcher sometimes. Definitely a good recruiter and players seem to like him.
I’ve said I think Ohio St is the only big ten team that will ever be competitive in the playoff. But if there was to be a 2nd team built for it, it would be Penn St. They have a lot of talent at skill positions. But they’ve been a game day disappointment often times under Franklin.

His winning percentage at Vanderbilt is better than it is at Penn State. Let that sink in.
He is a lousy game coach.
He can’t manage the clock.
Someone said Tucker at MSU and Franklin are vying for second in the Big 10 East. Not Penn State. They are fighting for third place.
He ruined what Bill OBrien built back.

O'brien just kept them decent when they were in dark times, he didn't build anything. Definitely didn't reach the heights of Franklin's teams there a couple years ago.

Not true
61.5% - Vandy
66.3% - Penn State
But the fact that it is even that close should be a fireable offense

Should have been fired after the Illinois and/or Iowa debacle and should have hired Rhule (PSU alum)
Franklin is smoke and mirrors. Dude sucks.

Funny how Congress didn't send letters to MSU and Penn State about their athletic programs and coaching salaries.

She "resigned" from her AD job at Tulane, after the Scelfo hiring debacle.
5 years later is hired at Cal, where she fires their best coach(Tedford) in 75 years. Hires Dykes who goes 19-30 (.388) leaves a year before Dykes is fired.

Bet she could get a job as an executive at Dick's

And there were fans on here that would’ve loved him at LSU.
