I have seen it in person but not hit it.

They are offering a really strange mix of standard shafts with the Stealth. Either really light and soft or very firm tip shafts. Nothing in between it seems.

ALDILA ASCENT RED 50
VENTUS RED 50
MITSUBISHI DIAMANA ZF 60

Shields did a side by side with Sim2 and they went same exact distance

TM lightening up the shafts try to squeak out a bit more yardage to justify the new club

Hit them yesterday in an on course demo day. Not worth dropping the cash on if you have a newer model driver

The fairway woods are rocket launchers

My concern would be cracking the face. Anyone that has swung composite bats knows what I’m talking about here.

I can’t see how the face holds up more than two seasons

I broke several bats in their first BP out of the wrapper. That first Axe bat, we broke 4 in our first session of being sponsored.

Is this the real deal ZF shaft? Bought one from a fitter 2 yrs ago for ~3-400.

This. I’ve been playing a Ping G400 for a few years now and was thinking about an upgrade. Hit the Stealth driver at a club demo; tried a few different shafts and the best we could do was about 5 yards longer with a little lower spin and similar dispersion compared to the Ping.

With the shaft that performed for me, it would have been sizable upcharge as well. No way 4-5 yards and no more forgiveness is worth $600-$700.

No. It might be same profile but the made forms are usually lighter and weaker because the avg golfer tries to ego-fit themselves in a stiff flex.

That being said I’ve had some of my best drives with made for shafts.

On average, we’ve picked up 20 yards in the past 2 decades with driver tech. I used to game the G400 and then picked up the G410 because it has the sliding weight. This will be my last driver for a looooong time. The 400 is a legit good driver. Some tour guys still opting for it over the newer lines

Yep.

I'm sticking with my TSI 2 Driver with the Fuji Ventus Red 60 S.

I’ll tinker with shafts but I’m in a UST Elements Earth 70 gram reg. The heavier low launch low spin reg loads really easy but the weight and profile make it feel like a stiff

Big fan. Just want to cut it down an inch.

Yeah Sheils didn't pick up any yards but the My Golf Spy guys said every one of their staffers picked up significant ball speed. They then accused Sheils of being "irresponsible" for only hitting 5-10 shots and then putting out that review.

Sheils recently addressed the accusation on his "radio show" or whatever it is.

Back to your Ping...I'm in the G30 and have been thinking about upgrading. Will the 410 head fit a G30 adapter?

No, the adapter changed on the G410. I have a G400 with a Ventus Black 5TX I would love to try in the 425 but same adapter issue.

I think Shiels picked up ball speed as well… just not any distance. Ball speed is only half the battle IMO. I also think stealth will benefit a segment of the market… just the segment that won’t drop that much on a driver.

G410 added another .5 degree so changed. 425 is allegedly more forgiving (don’t see how) but a little shorter.

Don't think there are any bad drivers out there.

I think Titleist has the best adjustability and Ping is the most forgiving.

Distance is greatly determined by the right shaft IMO.

After that it's which Driver inspires the most confidence.

A lot of truth right there.

And thats why I picked the G30 however many years ago.

I relied on James Leitz for this. Stock shaft XS. I believe Ping made a G model next, then the 400 then the 410? Is there a 410 Max as well?

There is a 425 Max.

410 has a Plus.
