LSU is currently 16-4 (4-4)

After playing @ TCU this weekend LSU has 10 SEC games remaining in the regular season (5 home/5 road). The toughest home game will be Alabama and we have 2 pretty tough road games @ Kentucky and @ Arkansas.

I think we defeat TCU on Saturday and go 7-3 over the last 10 league games. If that happens LSU will finish 24-7 (11-7).

Of course this would be contingent on Pinson & Days returning to near full strength sooner, rather than later. Should be fun.

If we beat TCU this weekend, let’s close 10-1. Revenge wins against arky & bama at full health. Kentucky at Rupp is the stumble.

If LSU can't find a way to play better offensively and shoot better from the free free throw line, they will lose more than three of the remaining games that are left in the season. We can't expect to have 20 turnovers, shoot 35% from the field, and shoot 50% from the free throw line and expect to win.

It’s honestly kind of funny to see people talk about this team when they have no idea about this team.

If LSU had a healthy Pinson, Days, Murray for all their games…LSU probably is 7-1 in league play. They are an awesome team when healthy.

50% Free throws? LSU shot 56%, 66% & 68% FTs in the last 3 games. That’s a 63% clip.

LSU is shooting 70.9% on the year from the charity stripe.

But I agree they have to limit turnovers and improve offensively though.

What about getting 2/3 of our best scorers back including a guy who shoots 80%+ from the line?

In my opinion, they should both sit Saturday. Do you want to beat TCU, absolutely. But I would much rather Days and Pinson get 5 extra full days before Ole Miss.

Even the lower teams can rise up and have a really good game and if you struggle you can still make it difficult on yourself

Miss St is a really good team and I'm glad that game is at home

If they aren't ready to go and there is a risk of further injury, you sit them. But a road win over TCU would be 10x more impactful than a home win vs a mediocre Ole Miss team.

I completely agree with you. I was just meaning if they can play a few minutes here and there, I would rather them take the extra 5 days and be closer to 100% next week.

By all means, if they can play Saturday let it rip.

Seems like the coaches thought Pinson would have been back by now. Hoping it's not something that is going to linger the rest of the season.

When you lose 2 of your top 3 players, including your best free throw shooters, these things happen.

Why people are shocked that LSU took a dip in performance over the last few weeks is strange. Few, if any, teams in the country could lose what LSU has lost and still stay consistent.

Take the purple and gold glasses off. They have deficiencies on the offensive end of the floor and of course the turnover department has been issue all season. If they do not clean things up come march they will be out 2nd round. They are a good team but awesome I would not go that far.

Most people don't understand bone bruises take time to heal and its a pain tolerance issue. Wade said he is progressing and did things in warm ups he couldn't do last week. He is getting there and its up to his body how quickly the bruise heals.

Every team in the tournament is going to have a weakness. And I agree 100% that LSU was struggling offensively (particularly with turnovers) before Pinson and Days got hurt. So thinking the offense is suddenly going to become great simply because Pinson returns is naïve. But, it is also true that LSU has only played 2 of 8 SEC games with their full starting line up. Murray missed the Auburn game and we are seeing just how important a player he is to this team. And it may not be a coincidence that LSU was playing their best offensive game in a while (maybe the season) vs. Tennessee when Pinson was injured late in that game.

Even with the offensive struggles, I think it is fair to say we want to assess this team with their full lineup in place. This team has been so good defensively that they haven't had to be great offensively to win games. Pinson and Days returning to the lineup could make them just "good enough" offensively to turn close losses into wins.
