I’m no expert but from watching this game, any time the other team drives or is going towards the basket our players leave there feet every time going for the block which makes it easier to get foul called. Many times when we go to the basket the A&M players stay on there feet and try and draw the charge. Not saying we should never go after the block but at times the charge is the right move to try and draw

Yes. Our players should also have to take acting classes. Every other team seems to be rewarded for flopping.

I don't want to watch games with 50 fouls and they shoot free throws all night.

Let them play basketball. College basketball is ruined by the officiating.

I think that’s what the Texas A&M fan announcing the game mentioned Will Wade saying. Wade thinks it’s unfair and potentially dangerous for defenders to deliberately try and draw charges. I think at least.

The worst aspect of college officiating, is that they LOVE to call traveling.

It must feel really good to make that motion, because they do it constantly. I think at least half of the traveling calls aren't legit.

I've never understood how the defender's hand can be on the ball during the offensive player's move, yet they still call traveling. Any experts in officiating care to chime in?

Even though the defender has hand on ball the offense can not walk away with the ball. He has to keep atleast one foot stationary

We tried. We received multiple flop warnings early in the year when taking charges

While LSU players do seem to jump on every pump fake, it really doesn't matter when the officiating is so blatantly one-sided every game.

I only watched one minute of gameplay last night before I quit. What the SEC is doing is just so damn obvious.

In that one minute of gameplay, I was treated to three bad calls, all went against LSU (of course). A charge where the defender was clearly still moving, a travel by the aTm player where he took nearly four steps, then another "charge".

This is happening to LSU every game. It is hard to get momentum and keep it during a game when the officials will take over and kill you. LSU goes up last night, then within three minutes of game play aTm is almost in the bonus.

This isn't an accident at this point.

I don’t know, I think Jackson traveled 3 or 4 times last night before it was called. One of their guys was also able to deflect the ball from himself, create a loose ball, then roll on the floor with it without being called.

I didn't know that. I played hs ball, and have watched college for 40+ years. I thought it was IMPOSSIBLE to travel (by rule) if the defender's hand was on the ball. Thanks for the info.

Are you referring to the Eason travel last night? Idk, what the exact rule is, but it gets called a jump ball 99% of the time.

The charge fouls have to chill its ridiculousin college bball, Texas A&M was more concerned about taking charges than actually playing defense

Why do you think the referee conspiracy against LSU exists? Why do referees hate LSU?

Actually they love calling the charge.. if you watch sometimes they start to call it before there is any contact. Bush league.
