Has anyone been to a five guys recently? Price related

Traveling overnight and tried to stop at Chick-fil-A but it was packed and there was a five guys across the street so I just whipped in there. They have always been on the expensive side but last night I got a cheeseburger with a small fry NO drink and the total was $16.60. That is beyond ridiculous for one person at a fast food place. No way they can sustain those prices and stay open in my opinion

No one is exempt from inflation but those prices are just ludicrous for a fast food joint. I can go to Burger King and get 2 double whopper meals for that price.

Skillet is vv close to all of them.
You could literally say they live inside of him on occasion.

These guy prices have nothing to do with Covid or inflation. They were like that beforehand

It seems fast food/restaurants have borne the brunt of inflation the most. I used to go out for lunch a couple times a week, but lately I’ve started bringing my lunch most every day

5 guys is also slow as hell for a place that only does fries, shakes, and burgers. It would be faster to wait in a 30 person line at chic fil a then be the only person in line at 5 guys probably. It took me 35 mins to get my food last time I was there and I was the 4th person in line. Never again.

The problem for one person eating fries at 5 Guys is they don't serve fries in a reasonable size for one person. The little fry is probably 25% larger than a McDonald's large fry even when they are stingy.

They don't offer milkshakes either, but I did have peanuts last night at the one in Metairie.
