Beginning February 17, 2022, Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated guests in both outdoor and indoor locations.

I posted the same info on an OT post but figured a new thread was more appropriate here with so many likely heading down for Mardi Gras

Since vaccinated people spread Covid just as easily (formerly called misinformation by the like of Low-TBoy)…

Why is this still only an option for them?

Do they define fully vaccinated?

Or are they even going to bother checking or will it be the honor system like everywhere else that has that policy?

Beginning February 17, 2022, Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in both outdoor and indoor locations. We expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters. Face coverings will still be required by all Guests (ages 2 and up) on enclosed Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner.

Appears to be the honor system. Just so happens that I go by the same honor code as Louisiana’s Governor.

But they're still making 2-5yo wear masks bc they can't get vaccinated... Child abusers. To me this doesn't change much.

I'd just say my kid was in the Pfizer trial.

Taking the kids in April and this is awesome news! I wonder if Universal and Seaworld Orlando is following suit.

Universal has already dropped the requirement. SeaWorld hasn’t had any mask mandate in place for months.

I haven't read anything that said they are checking vaccine status. The way it is worded seemed like it will just be an honor system.
