Going to be a rainy week here at The Players

Sitting here watching storms roll in. Looks like the tournament is going to be a mess weather wise. Tickets on the after market are dropping fast. Was hoping it would be a great year after all the other crap that has happened the past two years.

Local news is saying by 12:00 Saturday will clear up. It is going to be crazy windy though 30 mph winds. Players have already been bitching about the greens?

I know it won’t stop but I’m tired of the players bitching about the course set up. I watch the euro tour and I don’t believe I hear them complain(except Rory) like our guys do. For you older guys that have followed the tour has this always been a thing in the 80s, 90s and early 00s?

I listened to Harry Higgs basically explain it's not that they don't like rough conditions and setups. It's that they were making good shots and were getting punished despite it. I say welcome to golf, these guys are winey because they're just that good

Yeah but Rory is a fricking bitch. I think the only other person I've seen or heard complaining that is of any note is JT and I think that was maybe one time.
Personally, I want to see them struggle. I don't care to watch tournaments where guys shoot -20 like DJ (even as much as I admire DJ as a golfer) at Augusta or the -30s we saw at Kapalua. frick that. That ain't fun to watch every week.

Lol I'm reporting live from Jax Beach and we're under a tornado watch. But there is a group of baws out here surfing (or trying to).

They just gave a video update. Raining steadily. I can't see them playing any meaningful golf today. Next update in 6 1/2 hours. I'm watching Thursday's coverage I didn't get to watch.

I just got back from a trip oversees and see they are talking about finishing Monday. What happened? What round is this today? Is everyone on the same round?

This is epic. I have never seen pros have this much trouble except for a few US OPENs and their greens.
