Prosecutors will drop murder charges against an unlicensed security guard who shot and killed a protester at a "Patriot Rally" in Denver, Colorado. Matthew Robert Dolloff was charged with second degree murder after he killed with 49-year-old Lee Keltner. The Oct. 2020 shooting was caught on video from the rally.
Dolloff's attorney Doug Richards said that Denver District Attorney Beth McCann planned to dismiss the charges during a pre-trial conference on March 21. “In line with our ethical obligations, we cannot overcome the legal justifications of self-defense or defense of others. We are not able to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt,” said the office of the district attorney.

Imagine if this analysis had been applied to the Rittenhouse case.
Indeed. Who can?

Thanks for the update on this. Sorry to see the outcome. That “security guard” is a snake in the grass.

Imagine if Garland had this legal view Of "reasonable doubt" while looking at 1/6 event. We wouldn't have anyone in jail being denied due process in conflict with US laws....

At least the dude who shot and killed the patriot prayer guy in Portland was punished. Otherwise, he would've walked also. That dude probably would've said the murder victim said something that offended him earlier in the night. Even though no one could prove it, Oregon justice system would've definitely used it as an excuse to let the murderer go.

"He maced him"
"Thats why he shot him."
Being maced justifies killing someone. Noted.

Not shocked. The Left is never held accountable.

Yep. Almost every other BLM and antifa a-hole carries mace with them, and they gleefully use it all the time. Motherfrickers were macing kids during the Jewish protest against mandates, in ny. But it's a death sentence if you mace a leftist.

failing judicial system is all part of the destabilization of America. Crash all institutions so the Marxists can swoop in and save us. Flood the hospital and school systems and police entities and food and supply chains...transportation so they can federalize everything. It's over....

In the meantime, the soldier defending himself in his vehicle from the AK wielding soyboy in Austin is still facing prosecution.

shite. That one bar owner committed suicide because the state pushed him into a dead end.
Dude was behind him, had him in a chokehold, trying to knock him out. He fired a warning shot, guy still didn't let go. He finally had to shoot and kill the guy. State charged him with first degree murder. Because of the intimidation and pressure, the people who he rented his bar space from, kicked him out and terminated the lease. His landlord kicked him out of his house. Dude lost everything and there was still the state vehemently trying to get him imprisoned for the rest of his life.

A couple of years ago Scott Adams predicted that Conservatives would be hunted.
He was scoffed at by lefties.

Keltner was a raging whack job looking to fight someone. Attacked the reporter for recording him with a cell phone. The security guard got in between the reporter and Keltner hit him then pulled out the bear spray.
This has all of the classic stand your ground / proper 2A stuff you guys argue for on here.

OK, let's go with that, I'll throw in with you on this point and agree.
My question, if the victim was a black BLM supporter, would the charges have been dropped?
