Booking a round next week for my buddies and I.....I played TPC recently but not sure how it compares to ET right now.

IF you are familiar with both courses right now - - which would you suggest?

If you walk or don’t mind cart path only TPC is my choice. They may limit carts but the Zurich is a month away which means it’s in great shape.

Need carts got to ET. I played there a month or so ago and it’s nice as well, greens were great.

Played both in February… the looks favor TPC, idk if you can say the conditions. I had more fun at ET, I find it a more fun and challenging course. ET also doesn’t use fertilizer to make the course look pretty when I played.

English turn is much more challenging and fun to play in that regard, but I would assume that TPC is in phenomenal condition right now since the Zurich is a month away. The only issue might be that it’s getting close to that time when they make the whole course cart path only. Although it is an easy course to walk… I played 2 weeks ago and only 6 holes were cart path only.

As in fertilizer to make the grass green, all grass was dead when I played in late January. So I’d assume they don’t use same chemicals as other courses to stay green during winter.

its late January!! Some course are covered in Poa in the area thats why they are green or they are spraying pigment on their greens to make it look like a green. I assure you the Superintendent at ET is very good and knows what he is doing. Grass doesn't turn green in January because of fertilizer unless the air and soil tempertures get up.

Yeah not complaining, that was the only difference between ET and TPC when I played them within a close time period. Wanna play ET again soon, super fun course

Actually heard they put out fertilizer but did not adequately water it in and thats what burned the greens.
