FEDEX fricking sux

Won a Smith and Wesson off GB last week. Its a Smith 4505. Very few were made 972 to be exact. Dealer shipped last week. Gets to BR, out for delivery yesterday and they said business was closed. Dealer was open and said they saw the fedex truck pass by the store at the time they said they attempted delivery. No information on the tracking since 12:16 yesterday. I called them and they do not know where it is located.
What are the chances my Smith ends up in some hood rats hand and commits a murder with it?

I'm guessing this won't be the same as FedEx stealing an iPhone.

It will show up probably. Just a lazy arse driver. Happens constantly with Fedex to the point I expect it.

yea man , I had Fedex steal a package from me Im pretty certain.
Vendor shipped me out a Zeiss scope that was the wrong model packaged in the correct box so they shipped another. soon after decided to keep the one sent and notified the seller and they put a Return on the package they sent a day or 2 before the estimated delivery date. Package never showed up to my door step but was marked delivered. now its disputed and someone got a free scope.

I will say that I’m pretty lucky in that there are a lot of FDX pilots that live in my neighborhood.
They help to ensure the drivers that deliver are good ones, I’m guessing.

FYI. FedEx no longer "guarantees" overnight delivery. I paid $109 to deliver a package Priority to an important customer in WA state. It got there four days later and the fricks wouldn't refund my money.

Just talked to fedex. They said "someone" requested a hold to pickup. I had to explain to them it's a firearm and has to be delivered.

I sent a gun back to S&W to be fixed. They shipped it back 2day delivery via FedEx. Got an email from Fed Ex said package must be signed for by someone over 21. I arranged for my wife to be home that day to sign. Driver gave her the package, she asked where to sign and he said "No your good" and left.

3 years in a row FEDEX has either not delivered or delivered late at least 1 Christmas preset for us. My wife has been in their local office threatening to whip everyone if they didn't find her package.... and she's normally a very calm person

I had the 4043 as my backup/off duty gun in the 1990's. Nice gun. It was DAO.

Went to fedex. They called the driver. Gun was on the truck. They said they had a temp driver on Monday. anyway here it is with my 4506.
