BREAKING: The Democrat sheriff in Bexar County, TX, who opened up an investigation into the 50 illegal immigrants being flown to Martha's Vineyard says he cannot point to any criminal statutes that have been violated, just says that it was "distasteful."

if being "distasteful" is against the law then the democrat party would cease to exist

Distasteful. Not illegal. Distasteful. Recall this a-hole immediately. He has no business being a sheriff.

To be fair, failing to point to any crime never stops Democrats’ investigations.

A Texas sheriff can’t do shite to someone who never entered his county, let alone, state.

Letting illegals across the international border is not only distasteful it's illegal.

There was another thread on this where I asked what was illegal about what DeSantis has done, especially when compared to Biden doing the same thing. The answer?

How does a Texas Sheriff have ANY Jurisdiction when it comes to the Governor of Florida sending illegal aliens to Martha's Vineyard?
Sheriff, please cite the statute, or part of Texas' state constitution, that allows you to launch such an investigation.

That’s all you will get.
I asked when the impeachment hearings started since what they are claiming has been done is illegal. Even showing where Biden sent illegals, some minors, to NY.
After that it’s:

My question is why tf does a TX Sheriff care what is happening outside of his jurisdiction? He is paid by local tax payers to address the local population's crime problems. These elected officials need to have easier recall process when one can identify how the actions taken exceed or contradict the scope of their legal duties.
*Also, the premise of what you said is a bit inaccurate. While that is a good general rule, it's not a bright line rule. There are exceptions, but I'm not going to waste your time with pointless explanation because it is irrelevant to this post. One example would be where you are a party to a crime that occurs in jurisdiction A, but you are in jurisdiction B. Sheriff A can have warrant and charges brought in Jurisdiction A, then have that warrant and arrest executed in Jurisdiction B*

I don’t understand why a Texas sheriff would be investigating an incident that takes place in fla and ma. He has no jurisdiction. Is this even an actual story/investigation?

Is he trying to enforce federal immigration law? Because we are constantly told that state authorities can't enforce federal immigration law.
I'd like for this clown to set a precedent.

how can it be distasteful...distasteful would be sending them to the ghetto

So, politics then?
What a great use of resources. Maybe citizens in Bexar need to reign him in for wasting taxpayer monies. Maybe he needs to be investigated by the Texas AG.

I did read that he was up for relection. Not sure if that is correct.
I will say that many of my Hispanic friends from Texas, many of whom have been Americans for 4-5 generations, have no use for this open border/dreamer/sanctuary city BS.
White liberals think they understand the Latino population in the US. They do not.
Here is a hot sports opinion: we need more immigration, not less. But we need a model that moves people to jobs in demand and in places that can absorb the immigrant population.
This would require some actual thinking and problem solving, two skills seemingly absent in US Politicians.

They were in Texas when “Perla” made misrepresentations to them to get them on the flight from TX to FL.
