Anyone buy metal building through Carolina Carports?

I purchased a building in June from viking steel structures. Paid a down payment. Got plans from CCI, carolina carports, poured slab and emailed CCI on 8-2-22 that I was ready for building.
After numerous emails and being on hold on the phone for 30-40 minutes at time, finally got in contact with someone. Scheduled an installation for today and no one shows up. Can't get in touch with anyone. I'm furious.
Anyone else deal with this shite?

well then you didnt buy a building from Carolina Carports, viking did, and they screwed things up apparantly, most likely havent made full payment to CC yet
you got scammed and viking charged you a couple thousand to call CC and buy the building, which is what you should have done yourself

I have been in contact with CCI. They are in charge of installation and told me they were coming to install today.
I have been on hold with CCI for over 2 hours today.

I have a CC. What I learned was that they subcontract a bunch of different installers throughout the US. When the guys arrived to do my shop, they had material on their trailer to install 2 more shops after mine.
So, its likely there was some sort of issue with the installer.
Happy with the building after installation.

I’m guessing this building isn’t going to be a doghouse.

I bought one many many years ago. Have had no issues.

Just had one installed by them through Alans Factory Outlet. Same thing, they contract through Carolina Carports. They rescheduled 3 times on me supposedly due to rain (this was in August and it did rain a lot.) 3rd time I told the woman, "It's August in Louisiana, its gonna rain every f'ing afternoon, either come do the install or I'm going to cancel it"
The installers showed up a day or two later unannounced and unscheduled and did the install in a matter of 3-4 hours. It came out really well and I'm glad I didn't cancel it. Just know going in its not gonna be installed right away but its worth the wait.

I have a Carolina carport. Had similar scheduling issues, not quite as bad but I just think they are dealing with the cards they are dealt with the installers. It’s more of a hard to find good contractors than a knock on the company itself. My building is very solid and I’m very happy with it.

I had the exact same experience with them a couple years ago. It was always weather, other job took longer than planned, wrong building sent , etc.
We did that a couple times and I cancelled . The local dealer wouldn’t refund my deposit. Done the Carolina carports .

Quick note I learned about Carolina Carport dealers.
the "deposit" that dealers charge is their commission for the sale. CC the company receives their money on the backend. So be careful when selecting your local dealer because they have little to no incentive to refund your deposit (their commission).

They showed up at 5pm Thursday and worked in the dark until 8pm. Then came back Friday and finished around 630pm. Very pleased with the building.
