Seriously, I read he can get his clubhead speed up around 115mph.
ETA: Check that. According to Azinger it is at 117mph.

Charlie is a very long hitter for his age. As far as scoring, he finished -1 thru 3 rounds when he played in LA. The winner was -14.

Is he playing other kids his age or are they amateur tourneys? If he is losing by 13 against his peers that isn’t a good sign.

I understood he was playing with kids his age. Kid who won is 14 years old.
As far as his distance, Tiger admitted yesterday (while playing “The Match” that Charlie recently out drove him for the first time. Note: Tiger was carrying the ball 290 last night.

I find it very hard to believe Charlie has 117 club speed and is only averaging 225-230 unless he has a persimmon driver.
