After the near flawless unmanned spaceflight of Artemis I, NASA is full speed ahead in terms of getting ready for Artemis II. This will be the first crewed mission to travel beyond earth orbit since Apollo 17 in December 1972.
They will circumnavigate the moon and then return to earth. As of now, Artemis II is schedule for a launch in November 2024.

We're going to need preferred pronouns and food allergy status from these people.

given how immensely and justifiably pessimistic people were before Artemis I launched, the fact that the launch went off without a hitch and the trajectory was basically flawless was a shock even to the most optimistic people working the program
Kinda strange and cool to see optimism surrounding SLS again, even if people know Starship is looming.

Make no mistake, race and gender is absolutely the number priority in selecting this crew.

Who cares if she is 800 pounds. She’s transgender!

Someone needs to make a meme with the LBQTZXYZ flag on the moon!

It’ll be just like the racial makeup of any tv show
White male
White female
Black male
Black female
One Hispanic (any gender)
One nationality that you’re not exactly sure about (any gender)
Hooray equality

Does this mean Kubrick is still around?

How woke will the crew be and will it surprise anyone when they spiral out into deep space?
