He also ran the hardest and most practices, which alot of players are saying they feel healthier when that happens.
That might’ve played a huge part in Z staying healthy that year.

It took Ingram more than 2 games to get back into rhythm. Anyone want to bet Zion has restricted minutes if Zion does return?

There are two things I’ll give SVG. One is he was good at stopping the momentum of another teams run. I can’t remember yelling “CALL A FREAKING TIMEOUT” like I did with Monty, Al, or Willie. Two is that he is the only one who knew how to run point Zion. SVG figured out the best Zion which WG hasn’t. Willie hasn’t had him as many games but SVG gave you the owners manual on how to make the engine run and Willie didn’t use it.

So if you had to pick between 20 minutes of Zion or 20 minutes combined of Billy, Hayes and others playing up a position at the 4…the right call is playing Zion.

Morant missed 8 games and he was healthy, playing starting Pg and being a star in the league. when he was allowed to play he missed another game just working out and playing vs scrubs. the first one back he played 21 minutes.
he's now got a broken nose protector mask and a thigh injury already and just sat out a game.
if Zion played 3 weeks I could hope for a deep run.
as things stand ill be pleasantly surprised if they win a play in game with zion a factor. the teams near me, gsw and sacto constantly update the health and practice plans of their guys.
I have no idea whether zion is doing tip drills or 3 pt shot. so I don't know what to expect.

I just got a divorce from unrequited hope.
I wanted for zion to shine and the team to win a lot of playoff games.
I just accepted that its very unlikely zion has "game" upon his return. maybe.
but its slim.
there are differences but when I think about morant not playing at all during his counseling and he needed ramp up days.
he was averaging very similar to prime year1 zion 27 7 but more assists. and he needed a few days.
zion hasnt played in a long time.
