That was a crucial part of the game , right in the middle of GS’s run. The first one I think was nearing the end of the shot clock. The second he was open but could have driven the ball to the basketball. He hasn’t been the same since he come back from injury. I’m not sure Jax shouldn’t be getting his minutes Just terrible shot selection

Nance has to be still fighting through injury. Every now and then he has some lift but he mostly looks like he's playing with cement blocks on his feet compared to October Nance.

Nance has been a bigger bust for us than JV this season.

He offers nothing besides some coaching on the bench.

Nance was awesome the first half of the season before he got hurt. He's clearly still hurt as he looks like a different player athletically right now. He was dunking over everyone in the beginning of the year and now he can barely jump to get a rebound

I don't agree with that. He was great before the injuries mounted and his play has dramatically dipped since. But he was really good in the first half of the season when he was healthy.

Which is why I said a few months ago we were running Nance into the ground. This was inevitable Nance can’t play at that level all year.

The issue is jonas, we wouldnt have to run nance into the ground if jonas was BBQ chicken to any competent offense.

We’re a better team when we play through Jonas.

Willie should’ve started Nance against Dray last night and had Jonas beat up on Looney.

Did you not watch any of the 6 games before this one where Jonas was dominating because we partially ran through him? Or when we were killing it early in the year when we ran through him. Then compare that to how we were playing before our last winning streak. We looked like absolute hot garbage when they stopped feeding him.

People may not like him and blame a loss like this on him because of two missed rebounds but then forget that he had 21 rebounds the night before.

Particularly running him at the 5 exclusively.

Thats why i said competent offense. All of those teams during that win streak are bottom 10 offenses the clippers being the "best" at #20 and they were without PG. Any smart team is going to pull jonas out on the perimeter and blow right past him. We saw it last night and all playoffs last year.

Willie used Larry unnecessary to much as the backup 5 to much early in the season. Larry at the 5 should have been something we use in the 4th quarter to close out the game, but we used him as the back up 5. With Larry injury history we was playing with fire. We used up all of Larry good legs in November-December

I knew the game was over right then. When better coached teams start forcing the exact shot they want, this team has no answer. We’ve seen it over and over again.

We got killed by Looney on the boards, both with Jonas in the game and when Nance came in.

I may be wrong but, starting next year, I think Nance is about to enter phase 2...of his NBA career...similar to Lopez and Horford. Assuming Zion plays next year...Nance could be quite useful for the Pels & especially Zion, as the "small ball 5" offensively. Defensively, I wish he had a coupla more inches to work with but he's still very solid, relatively speaking, against the PnR.

Any decent look at his career stats offensively...should make it obvious that this plan will be the best way to proceed, from this point forward...for Nance, Jr.

Jonas should be doing this too. Shoot five 3s a game
