Unfortunately smart coaches have to do this to try and keep politics out of sports. Focus on the game not bullshite politics.

Short answer....yes. It's a legitimate question. EVERYTHING a team does at the national championship game is scripted.....staying in the locker room for the national anthem was not an accident.
