All this talk about the Pelicans staff is warranted, but the majority of the blame falls on Zion and his unwillingness to work on his body.

It's like he still thinks he's in college and can just roll out of bed and dominate.

coaching.
training staff.

I don't expect 19 yr olds out of high school to be expert in kinesiology and stretching.

Funny how the guy is a joke to the former NBA players in the media that say he is a lazy player that does not give a shite.

I'm so tired of the ones making excuses for Zion, he's a professional it's his duty to take care of himself.

The facts are Zion doesn't listen to advice giving to him. Remember when he was rehabbing from the knee injury his rookie year and the team said they was teaching him to walk correctly and the media made fun of him and Zion got his feelings hurt. Instead of listen to professionals and fixing himself he got butt hurt and here we are years later with the same waddle walk that cleary plays into all his lower body injuries

What do you see to the contrary? Zion gets to make a choice if he wants to approach a lean playing weight / stay on top of recovery and be able to stay on the court. No one can force him to do this; it has to be a choice he makes and his status and wealth make being healthy extremely achievable and convenient.

Yet in spite of all this, he's never been in playing shape and has missed 2/3 of the games in his career. Is this somehow not on him?

trying to tell y'all... maybe it will finally make sense to some of y'all...

we need to trade this dude while we can still possibly get something for him... another injury filled season and his trade value is ABSOLUTELY nonexistent... we can at least still get something for him this offseason...

He’s nearly 23 and he definitely knows how to cash checks.
