I didn't catch the radio, but the older TV announcer was terrible. Had a hard time completing sentences.

On 98.1 who ever announced the game sounded like he had a giant twinkie stuck in his mouth. It wasnt the normal voice of the Tigers.

Jeff Palermo. He's terrible. He was doing PBP for the games in Round Rock while Blair was with the basketball team. I was listening, not watching. He gave the count about every 8 pitches. He kept running his mouth and you could hear the ball hitting the mitt and he wouldn't shut up and call the pitches.
"Now to the plate, Jordan Thompson, blah, blah, blah....blah, blah, blah....and that's a ball to make the count 3 and 1".
Garbage.
