He could have given a simple non committal answer like “I’m not 100% at this time”

Or could have thrown the medical staff under the bus.. “they haven’t cleared me to play yet”

Or just avoided the question all together.. declined to comment.

All would have been better than basically saying “Yeah I’m healthy and could play but I’ve decided to keep sitting out and not help this organization win”

And Zion wonders why he’s getting shite on by the entire NBA fanbase

At least the entire country feels the same way we do. He can’t get mad at the people in Nola for being outraged when every talking media head is ripping him apart as well.

Either his PR team is worse than his nutrition team or he made those comments to piss off the FO

The frustrating part is no one on Zion's side has any idea what needs to be done for him to be a successful NBA player. I got mocked for saying he needs to be under 240#s. But that should be the benchmark. A man his size has no benefit in carrying that much mass.

What needs to happen is full transparency and for Zion to fall in love with conditioning. I mean like make a TV event based around it, like hard knocks. A 4 month docuseries following his fitness journey. It would be a marketing boom and transform the narrative around him. Show his struggles. It will humanize him. He could pick up a ton of new advertising and sponsors as well. It's a huge missed opportunity right now..

Or he could grow up become a man and take the job he gets paid very well to do seriously, and get in shape to do it.

The 22 year old Fat Boy is getting ripped apart by the media. Saw one video with a commentary that the guy never plays, is a bust and actually said Zion is worthless.
And the Pelicans just got scammed into giving him another $193 Million contract. How about that for loyalty and gratitude?

Hey I got a quick question.

I've seen you post on this board a lot, and I have to ask, why are you such a negative arse bitch that posts fricked up shite all the time? You can be mad, but you act like a bitch and bring nothing constructive to the conversation. Like a bitch.

Do you have anything positive to say? Go back and chastise CJ with your Purple Heart bullshite.
Great job dogging a veteran player that puts it on the line to help his team. Guess you are too busy idolizing the kid that doesn't give a shite about the team paying him $100s of millions or his teammates.

Shows incredible immaturity and even worse, no one around him to guide him through these situations or he is ignoring advice in these situations.

Either way bad news to the Pelicans. Looks like another failed lottery pick.

And then went on the court before the game and was windmill dunking and doing post moves. Not a good look
