Can't trade him. So they waive him before his contract becomes fully guaranteed. It's not a bad move business wise. But Booker and Durant has to be pissed.

Still a chance they may bring him back on a cheaper deal

Call me crazy but after that video I think CP3 might come home to try and help his boy and fix this massive frick up.

i don't think you can do that.
They are still on the hook for $15.8M owed to him for this year. that's what was guaranteed of the $30.8M he had left on the contract.

No fricking way they didn't see that coming. Maybe they pretend to be surprised publicly but they knew he was gone.

Why would you want to bring a guy that quit on his team (Ayton) and an older player on his last leg (Paul) for a guy who’s literally one of the few adults on this team?!?! Plus, CJ is still pretty good!!

I didn’t say if I did or didn’t. But you would be doing it to swap a 31 year old CJ, set for offseason surgery, for one of the better centers in the league who is only 24 years old.

Supposedly he wants to play 7 more years. I’m not sure if someone will fork out a big contract for a 38 year old whose injury prone

So he wants that Garrett Temple special.

Ask yourself would the Suns who already have Durant and Booker want to trade their only interior presence for CJ?? If you can’t figure it out, ask for help.
