Looks like we're running it back, baws

That’s it run it back , don’t make any moves. We’re gonna have the same results. Struggling to make the play in game

I still think we are going to make a few roster moves. With that said, even if we dont… we have a very young core group of players who will only be better next year. A full season healthy Pels team is a top 5 seed.

Keeping Zion and BI is the right thing to do.

Could just be Griff posturing to try to get demands from Charlotte/Portland lowered.

I just don’t see Zion playing more than 40-50 games a season. He seems like he doesn’t have the passion that BI and the rest of the guys have. I think we are missing an opportunity by not trading him now

Obviously you have to get the right deal for him, but I’m truthfully all out of hope and expectation that Zion will ever be a guy that can give you even 65-70 games a year. I would move him.

Man it is so weird that we're keeping a guy that had us at the one seed.

He's 22, so he's definitely not going to get any better at any aspect of his game/off the court discipline. Just odd.

You're forgetting how big of a variable Zion is. We still have to see what's happening with the training staff. My reading of the tea leaves is last season they could have let Zion play himself into shape and had him in the Playin/Playoffs but chose not to. If they get a training staff that is more willing to meet Zion halfway rather than have a My Way Or The Highway attitude, they hopefully get more games out of him.

We also desperately needed more big depth and they hopefully address that.

On top of that if Trey, Dyson and Herb can all keep moving forward, and CJ has a healthy shooting hand, it should not lead to the same results.

Sarcasm aside, he's a guy that had the team with the one seed early in the season. He's also a guy that hardly ever plays and his team has ended up outside the top 6 at the end of the season.

Did you forget where we were 18-8 and 1st in the west? Then the injuries happened.

I mentioned this quote I think in the Shams thread yesterday.

Smart move or non move by Griff IMO.

If only seasons were 30 games.

This is the same shite we lived through with Davis. Every year, if he can just stay healthy..

I would have liked to see Zion moved. I know he has the potential to be the best player in the NBA. Also, we really were the best team in the league when he’s actually on the court. But to me, he appears to be an immature man child with an extreme sense of entitlement that doesn’t care about consistently putting in the work to be great. However, I understand the FO feeling like there in to deep with his process and are so close to being a legit championship contender with him. So, I’m hoping for the best and waiting to see how this plays out. I really do hope I’m wrong.
