WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (FLV) – Commenting on the 2024 GOP presidential primary but still remaining neutral, conservative activist Scott Presler warned that former President Donald Trump’s campaign should ensure they have a stronger early voting and voter registration “infrastructure.”

“[While] I’m not endorsing a presidential candidate in the primary […] I’m trying to let President Trump’s team know [that] DeSantis’ camp is out doing the door knocking, doing the voter registration – they’re on the ground,” Presler said.

“I’m curious as to whether President Trump’s team has the same kind of infrastructure built out […] they’ll wait in line for three days out in the rain, camping out for President Trump’s campaign rallies, which is good […] But, it’s like, are y’all doing the work required in order to make sure that President Trump wins the nomination?”

Presler has gained prominence in recent years for his grassroots efforts to bolster Republican voter registration and turnout across the country, also launching a PAC to target early and mail-in voting.

Speaking further on 2024, Presler said while polls are showing Trump far ahead for the primary, if Trump voters wait for election day to vote, the polls may be “skewed” and the Florida governor could perform considerably higher than national or state polling.

“They’re going to use every legal tool to their advantage in order to get their man in the primary,” Presler said.

“Could it happen that there are shenanigans that happen on Super Tuesday [dampening election day votes]?”

Both Trump and DeSantis have endorsed the idea of Republicans utilizing aggressive turnout tactics like early and mail-in voting.

There isn’t. The claims by tCult there is some ballot harvesting infrastructure is laughable. Trump’s campaign has and will continue to be disorganized.

Shouldn’t the Party, as a whole, be hard at work on this?

It’s not the Democrat candidates who have done this for them.

I don’t believe republican candidates will win on mail-in-voting. I think the ballot harvesting is inherently corrupt and should be illegal.

It is well understood democrats will use bad intentions with ballot harvesting and I don’t think republicans will do it better or should be doing the corrupt practice anyways.

Precisely why the RNC chair is horrible and should be removed.

Trump will talk a big game that he has all of this infrastructure and the best this and the best that, take your money.

Will lose and cry that it was unfair, it was rigged, and it was his turn. Fill BS lawsuits that he will lose and then ask for more of your money.

They would have if they had elected Harmeet Dhillon as Chair, she wanted to focus on grass roots and election law fights. That is who DeSantis endorsed.

Instead Trump pushed for Ronna McDaniel who thinks you win by hiring consultants, sending a gazillion "Quadruple match" fundraising mailers and emails, and most of all having very expensive outings for RNC Members to pat themselves on the back.

Then you will be guaranteed to lose. That's always an option.

Why does a “self-funded” campaign need donations?

So ron isn’t asking for money? If he loses will you come in here and say he conned you out of money?

Oh and btw, the dems raised more money and won the election.

I’d say it’s going to take money to win.

You can’t have it both ways.

That was proven untrue again in California and NY where the GOP picked up seats in '22. GOP actually used to be very good at mail in. The key is an "all of the above" strategy that you identify EVERY potential voter and make sure they all vote one way or another. That is how Dems do it and the GOP is playing catch up. That's how you get Fetterman and Hobbs elected, it's about finding the votes not just messaging and rallies and hope that they show up. It's about KNOWING they show up or have voted.

The cheating stuff is overblown because while it exists at best it is on the margins. They key is making sure to track every single GOP potential voter and get their ballot by any legal means necessary. I hate the election laws in some states where they mail out ballots and harvest but if those are the rules we need to beat them at their own game and quit bitching about it, when we win we can change the rules to be in person and require ID. It's not that Dems print ballots so much as they know how to get the votes of people who couldn't tell you who they are voting for. They know if someone is over 18 they can get their ballot. Republicans need to play by those rules.

Or we can keep complaining, stay disorganized, and lose again and again. That's one of my biggest complaints about Trump, he has no real plan and he is very disorganized because the stuff Pressler is talking about takes a LOT of discipline, money, and work. Trump wants to have rallies and talk smack, that's not going to work in a high turnout election.

This lie continues to be false no matter how many times people post it.

Trump interview

quote:

When asked whether that means he favors her [Dillon] or McDaniel—the current chair whom Trump selected after his 2016 White House victory and backed again in her subsequent reelection as chair—he declined to pick a specific candidate.

“I think they’re both good,” Trump said. “I like them both."

Trump supports Ronna McDaniel, Kevin McCarthy, Lindsay Graham. And we are not talking about a tacit endorsement that politicians have to make. Trump is slobbers all over these people.

I mean at some point you’d think Trump fans would step back and evaluate that and ask if that comports with the things they support and believe.

We all hate RINO, GOPe Republicans. But I would really be pissed at myself for failing to see that I have become a RINO, GOPe Republican simply because I lacked the ability to think rationally and logically.

DANA POINT, Calif., Jan 27 (Reuters) - The Republican National Committee reelected Ronna McDaniel to a fourth term as chairwoman, giving a mandate that would keep the Donald Trump-backed candidate in the top party post through the 2024 U.S. presidential elections.

Congratulations to Ronna McDaniel on her big WIN as RNC CHAIR,” Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social
