After last night it’s obvious. What a clown show that debate was

Trumps interview had a lot of substance to it, he impressed me. Desantis isn’t ready for the big stage yet. I think Burgum would be solid if I had to vote for someone in that debate

I thought he’d be more comfortable up there, but I’m not going to be too rough on him. He was the one person on that stage who has a legit shot to beat Trump and therefore that was the biggest moment of his life. He’s not a natural at this part of being a politician, and it’s understandable he was feeling the pressure on top of it.

Let’s see how he does now that he has one under his belt.

The problem is, each one of those stiffs up there is still a better option than Biden but they won’t win.

Hugely depressing because they are all fake as hell but can at least string together a full paragraph.

Mike pence and Nikki haley were there to drown out Vivek.

Christie? Lol.
Ron? Canned and fake.

The GOP is dead because it’s killing itself from within and by its donors.

Jeb Bush was already mega-donated, sight unseen. That’s who they thought could take down trump and they donated KNOWING that Hillary would beat the ever loving hell out of him.

But that’s the GOP’s weird existence.
To take money from donors so they can lose to democrats that will take even more from us.

Desantis reminds me a lot of Scott Walker or Ted Cruz. A great conservative but doesn’t seem to have the personality to connect with people on the big stage. It’s going to be hard for him to beat Trump due to Trumps personality

Then you have Vivek who did great at jabbing the others and being basically a mini Trump. He just has a smarmy personality that’s not as likeable as Trumps. And he has contradicted himself so much that he isn’t trustworthy

I really wish we could find a reagan like candidate that’s cool calm and collected but witty enough to take down these idiots while letting their insults roll off his shoulders. Someone that focuses on policy and substance, has a presidential demeanor while being friendly and down to earth.

Better or worse than when he fell on his face in the Baier interview?

That's the analysis of a party which is in complete disarray.

Trump will be the nominee, yet he has no future in government. He won't come close to being elected after over a year of fending off federal and state felony charges. The public shame is excessive.

By far the most compelling of last night's debate participants was Chris Christie. He was on point with each question he was confronted with, an imparted humor as well as reasoned, intelligent responses.

Best I can say for him is he has bright blue eyes. Would say pretty, but that would be gay.

Probably the biggest issue with the debate was a good bit of questions didn’t really allow for a whole lot of substance. Then they’d ask one candidate a good a question and you’d say “hmm. I can’t wait to hear what ______ says about that.” Then the question gets changed up to something completely irrelevant that no one cares about and the candidates get chastised for trying to circle back and give input to the good question. And then there was the fricking shouting over each other and letting candidates go on way past their allotted time. Just mute damn microphones. It’s obvious Fox or no other networks wants actual debates with substance, they want a Jerry Springer (RIP) episode with poor attempts at humor like that alien bullshite.

Can’t say now that I blame Trump for not wanting to participate. At this point I won’t hold it against candidate who doesn’t want to waste their time doing out and opt for a Town Hall or something instead.

Well, the issue with that is we are at a different time. Different times mandate different leadership.

When Reagan was running the USA was a very different place. The Democrats were not who they are today. And it takes a different approach to stop them.

DeSantis was excellent on the dumb climate change question.

He shut it down and took over. He was perfect on that.
