The second half ineptitude (-95) is the worst through 7 games in NBA history. History bruh lol. Outscored by 95 points after halftime over 7 games. Sounds like no adjustments being made.

I know it is a different sport, but it was funny that Dennis Allen went on a rant this week about how halftime adjustments are "freaking overrated." Shows the mentality of our coaches here. They do not understand how to adjust at half.

God damn. I don't even know how this is possible.

Is it just a lack of effort? Maybe a lack of conditioning? Shitty coaching?

All of the above. This has been Willie's Achilles heel since he's been here. We're in year 3 and it's still a huge problem.

Willie is not a good coach. Sorry. The. End. He’s a hell of a likable guy. We can’t even draw up a play to get the ball thrown in when it’s critical.

That's why people like Dennis Allen will never be a champion

I suspect Ingram smokes a bowl in the lockerroom and Zion hits the buffet, leading to the slow starts.

When your best player spends the offseason posting dunk vids, having “off court drama”, saying stretching and nutrition might be important after making over 240 million dollars guaranteed to play a sport that he is almost never actually playing…and still starts the year overweight and out of shape and taking rest days 7 games into the season

My first thought isn’t to put the blame on the coaches. Willie has flaws but in the NBA even with our depleted roster the blame starts with Z. Even with injuries this roster is still good enough to win games and not be embarrassed the way they have.

It’s what year 5 with a generational talent on a loaded team and the hope isn’t a championship, it’s not a serious playoff run…it’s that Zion can play 60 games and go from there…

When considering Zions talent think of what similar players had accomplished by year 5…it’s depressing.

If we're this bad in the second half, I wonder how bad we're about to lose to Minnesota since we're already down 28 at the half.

Willie Green is not a good head coach... I've been saying this for 3 years now... great assistant, great with the players, etc... but he just is not a good as a head coach of an NBA team... period

Yes, this is very clearly the coaching of the opponents making adjustments and Willie failing miserably. They do come in with a solid plan most nights it seems but the teams adjust and Willie has no clue what to do with those adjustments.

It very much so may be different in football. I was listening to a podcast last week and a former coach mentioned that there usually aren't many major halftime adjustments because there just isn't enough time
