I thought we were supposed to get an update. Did I just miss it? We are really gonna need him if we end up getting matched up with the Clippers imo

Its pretty unlikely that Dyson would play in any 1st round series imo

Both. Unless we just can't stop someone or there's an injury dyson won't see much court time.

From a playing time standpoint due to injury...

We simply aren't going to rush our 8th-10th best player back when we are going to be minimizing pt anyway.

He may get a few minutes if he's healthy but our lack of luck isn't "injuries" its "injury timelines". So no one is holding their breathe.

I've heard the BEST case recovery for Torn Meniscus surgery can be 8-12 weeks. Worst is six months.

His injury was 4 weeks ago.

When have you ever seen a Pelican exceed (or even match) the best case scenario in recovery?

Pels are a month away from the playoffs, If Dyson can be available for use (situational or emergency) that would be a win. He looks to be traveling with the team which is a good sign.

I'll be stunned if Dyson plays again this season, but that's strictly based on what we know so far.

For sure, no one but Pels and Dyson know the medical. I'm just looking mainly at his age in terms of recovery. Hopefully, he's used the time to see how he can be effective on the court.

I saw a video of him doing stationary dribbling. Improving his handle (confidence) will go a long way to slowing the game down for him.

I really couldn't disagree more. Unless Dyson isn't healthy, he will get minutes. It may not be huge minutes, but a guy with his defensive abilities will be valuable in the playoffs.

c'mon man you know who our coach is.
Of course Dyson would get minutes in a playoff series, as he should. Doesn't mean he has to play 20+ but he without a doubt should see the court and if he's playing well then he keeps playing, and if he's too much of a liability offensively, then he doesn't, but he'd without a doubt get the chance to play.

Most likely he’s done until next year. Maybe if we make a deep run he can give us a few minutes of good defense but he’s pretty much out.

This is a game that we really could have used Dyson.
