I got 'em, first time for everything!
They are destroying 2 walls in bedroom, treatment is starting to work slowly after 2 weeks, Sentricon bait system.
Advised not to tear the walls out for another couple of weeks....
Comments welcome

There is your problem. Nothing to keep them from gaining access.

Did you have any sort of termite treatment going on before you got them?

It shouldn’t take more than a day to kill them. Easy to kill OP.
I had them in my office, metal office building. I bought in March and the termites showed in early May. We had a termite contract and they sprayed one day and dead the next.

I did. They only ate the pine floor in one bedroom before I noticed. Not the subfloor, just the pine. I got the bait stations like you and after chewing one up, I never saw them again.

Yep
Ate the entire sub floor in bedroom and part of a living room
Had no idea the extent of the damage until I got all new flooring and the flooring guys started tearing out old stuff and noticed that the sub floor was like paper mache at best.
It was bad

In our old house they got in the walls and only ate the paper on the dry wall.
We had a termite contract and they came out to spray. Killed them all and I repaired the dry wall damage myself.

If doing the tear out yourself, avoid the temptation to remove any and all wood the termites have touched. While it may look unsightly, a lot of it is still plenty strong to do the job.

I had treatment in place for a few years and I let the annual inspections lapse....my fault and I will pay the piper.

Funny you said that,,,,,they are eating the paper on the sheetrock bigtime.
Hopefully, they are only hungry for paper and not wood.
I'll know in a few weeks, the treatment has taken hold and they have stopped munching.

Plus, I had to have the house levelled, and there is decent size crack in the slab. I will keep the house fully treated and keep an eye out for the little bastards.

I have Terminix and just had 7 year booster done. I checked their truck toolbox to see what termite chemical they used and it is Taurus SC.
Check it out at Do It Yourself pest Control online. Worth buying a $100 jug to supplement whatever your other termite treatment might be.

Look I’m not trying to talk smack, if they aren’t dead after 2 weeks I’d be concerned something is wrong. Termites die very easily. You want to kill them with the special poison so they take it back to the colony and kill the colony. But that really doesn’t take long either. If you are still seeing visual activity after 2 weeks I’d be on the phone raising hell.

I answered a termite question post here about a month ago with additional info for a woman who was interested in treating her home. It was a few days after Terminix did my home, search for it.

Agreed....but I am told you MUST kill the QUEEN, which can take time,.
The soldiers bring the chemical to her over time....when she dies, the entire colony is dead.

What you need is any pesticide that has fipronil. Taurus SC is one example. Slow kill, don’t use a bifen product.
