Kicking them off without giving them their luggage that contained medicines is begging for a lawsuit.

Is this still America? Why should anyone be forced to use words they aren’t comfortable with, and why can you be kicked off flights for not playing along with someone else’s psychosis?

This is quite a society we've built for ourselves

I don't understand why the other passengers don't intervene. All should rise against the bad. Problem solved

You mean, evil flight attendant...

They demand total acceptance of everything they believe to include influencing children. Not just influencing children, but surgically altering their sex. These people are sick.
All because the mother didn't use the flight attendant's "they/them" pronouns.

There’s got to be more to this.

Let’s give mentally ill people a job in the sky. What could go wrong?

This story doesn’t pass the smell test. I have a feeling this mother wasn’t as innocent in all of this as she is playing it out to be. She may be using the pronoun bullshite to garner sympathy from the rationals of the world, but I’m not buying that’s what happened here.

It’s hard to believe that whatever happened rose to the level of kicking a mother and baby off the plane and withholding relatively immediate access to their luggage. For example, it doesn’t appear police or security guards were involved.
Throw in the dude who wants to shite next to eight year-old girls in public restrooms and Occam’s Razor says United reps are pulling some bull shite…

Getting to their destinations is more important than denying the mentally ill dude his playtime

Mrs Longoria (wood) handled that a lot better than I would have. I’m pretty mild mannered until it comes to crazy being pushed in my face.

More than what the OP said? There is. Read the article. There does not have to be more than what is in the article.
The woman walked up to the flight attendant, who was a man dressed as a woman, and called him “sir”. She then referred to him as “he” several times, even after being confronted about it. It appears that she was spoiling for a confrontation and got one. If you read the article you will probably conclude that the passenger did not do this unintentionally as she claims.
The dude’s still a dude, and he’s still a weirdo, but the passenger was being provocative.

Without even digging any further into this story I am 100% sure it was not "just" because of pronouns.
Guarantee there was more to this story.

No, there isn't. Airline employees love to call airport police on passengers over even the slightest infraction. The fact that United didn't call the police and have her removed from the airport tells me they were on shaky ground and her story of purely hurt feelings is all that happened.

Remember the good old days when DC9's, 727s and 747s were staffed with articulate, high quality trim?
