Pretty sure the EPA is cracking down on these and it is now illegal to do it and for a shop to do a delete.

Plus, they’ll issue your fine from 0 miles, regardless of mileage when you deleted emissions equipment…

Gonna cost around $5k to have it returned to legal status when you get caught up to! Feds are cracking down.

I bought my first diesel this year and I love the truck. But it's infuriating that all of the crap they put on the truck in the name of emissions when you can delete it, gain power, and improve fuel economy at the same time. But, the government knows best and you're not allowed to do that.

My past two F250's were deleted. Both trucks had a considerable increase in power and fuel mileage after the mods were completed. The downside was the amount of exhaust fumes due to the straight pipe from the manifold. I sold the second truck after a year fully deleting and tuning.

I need a 3/4 ton truck, but not a diesel. Operating expenses for a diesel are costly and they don't like short drive times where the engine isn't able to get to the proper operating temp.

I moved on to the 7.3L, it's been fantastic to drive and a lot less expensive.

Deleted my 2016 last year and its currently sitting in my shed with 193K miles on it. Bought a beater Camry to drive back and forth to work and hope to keep my truck for many years just to pull and go to the camp.
