Probably because this was already agreed upon and Trump reneged once it became certain there would no longer be a turnip on the other side of the stage. The Trump campaign ALREADY AGREED to the ABC debate but now is refusing.
The correct thing to do would trade it off- do one on abc and then do one on Fox.
