Angry they/them Star Wars tourists attack YouTubers.

Posted on 9/4/24 at 6:19 pm
Summary - a group of woke NPC Acolyte loving zealots have launched a coordinated attack campaign against multiple YouTubers with the goal of silencing their freedom of speech and getting them demonetized and permanently removed from YouTube, if possible.
The crime? Having opinions which don't conform to the militant Woke agenda.
We're winning

Why? Because some nutjobs are attacking people for the crime of HAVING OPINIONS?? And those opinions are based in facts with evidence that supports the claims made?
This literally is a coordinated targeted attack on individuals and their channels who know what they are saying. 100's of vids and messages all dropped at the same time with the intent of harassing real fans who have covered these IPs for YEARS.

Nah
Watching the pronouns-in-bio wack jobs freak out is pure entertainment.
Far more entertaining than The Acolyte or anything else Disney Star Wars has made.

I say bring on a digital counterinsurgency against these green-haired freaks.
Disney started this fight when they bought one of the most beloved IPs of all time and began to poison its entertainment value by injecting DEI silliness where it has no business.
They're actively turning millions of lifelong fans against the property so they can rebuild it in the image they want without pushback from new fans who only know what they've been served up in the past decade, and more importantly don't know how venerable SW once was.
ETA - proof of this is that they doubled down on the failure of Galaxy's Edge as a theme park draw, and kept it centered a sequel trilogy era attraction instead of the Galactic Civil War.

What's funny about the woke zealots is they were never star wars fans. You actively had to destroy everything that made star wars great and then inject it with LGBTQ themes to get them to even pay attention.
Explain to me what the point is of any brand/IP if at the end of the day they'll have the same progressive sex fetish themes?
The woke care not about anything but the promulgation of their sex fetish ideologies.
They're not offended by anyone's dislike of star wars, they're offended they can't scream out their sex fetishes and force people to love it.

Yep. That’s what makes them tourists.
Using established IPs to install & promote their agenda, aka The Message.

They're performing ideological transgender surgery on star wars. To me-that's the best way to describe it.
They're performing trans surgery and want the fans to obediently see it for what it is no longer about.

It has some flaws, but every time I've been there, it's been slammed with people. That's not really indicative of a failure.

They felt the need to rebrand it as being Mandalorian-adjacent, since that's the one new IP within the SW universe that's truly landed with fans.
The sequel trilogy era hotel has been an unmitigated disaster.

They haven't really rebranded it though. They have characters come in when they're releasing a new show, but they haven't changed the whole timeline of the land, at least yet. They should, but they haven't.

That had nothing to do with the in-universe timeline and everything to do with price point.
Look, there are legitimate criticisms to be made. But you don't have to make things up to fit the narrative when there is already a shite load of actual things to take issue with.

No one is making anything up. Disney's not going to come out and admit that backlash against the hotel and everything that has happened since the second death Star exploded was a flaming shitshow on ice.
They're well aware of what the problem is, and they have double, triple and quadrupled down on the nonsense. As fans, we can only hope that the property eventually ends up in the hands of people who appreciate the entire universe and will treat it properly.
In the meantime, you just have to buckle up and settle in with the reality that a bunch of pierced freaks that don't know which bathroom to use are making every available effort to burn the property to the ground.

Other than the overpriced hotel how has Galaxy's Edge been a failure?

The Bitch and Moan YouTubers playing the Victim Card because the people they accused of playing the Victim Card have switched to playing the Bitch and Moan card.
They deserve each other.
They deserve each other.

Let's not forget that they're not "TRUE FANS" of the original movies.
They're fans of making money on youtube videos and will play whatever character will generate the most views.

We're going to pretend that there isn't an avalanche of YouTube and blog reviews from avowed SW fans who say the whole experience doesn't measure up to hype/ expectations?
I haven't been, so I can't weigh in firsthand. I can tell you that I'm much less likely to make a point to go knowing that it's centered around the limping abortion of the sequels, however.
If you don't think there's anything wrong with TLJ, then I can't imagine that you'd see the myriad missteps in not making it slap in between Empire & ROTJ.

you all are aware that “Star Wars” is fictional right? All made up. Entertainment. None of it ever happened or will happen.
