The first two episodes have dropped on Paramount.

Just my .02, but both seemed like they would be “filler” episodes in a 20+ episode season.

In the first, which is the better of the two, Frasier finds out that Alan was the person who advised Freddy to drop out of Harvard to become a fireman.

The second is a Valentine’s Day episode (airing in September) where he plays a Cyrano de Bergerac role with Olivia and Moose. As I mentioned, it would have been fine for filler late in a 20 episode run…but you expect better from a limited season.

Supposedly he will return to Seattle in future episodes. Hopefully they will be better.

Glad it dropped. That means all 3 I watch on Paramount (Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King and Frasier) will be out when I get my yearly black Friday deal.

The third episode brought Roz back.

It was another cheap, recycled plot episode centered around Frasier, Alan and Freddy “babysitting” and “having a wild adventure”. Roz’s cameo seemed forced/unnecessary/wasted.

Of course not. The original was one of the best cast shows of all time. It’s not really fair to ask it to live up to that standard. The reboot is still good tv and enjoyable enough.

If the show would turn into to something really good, they could have a GOAT episode at Cheers.

If it stays mediocre or just okay, I hope they’re smart enough to stay away and not do it for clicks.

I’d be interested to see what became of Ludlow. Serephina might also make for an interesting Cheers-based cameo.

1. Holy hell. Roz has had so much plastic surgery or Botox she is now incapable of making facial expressions.

2. I don’t understand why they chose to have Nickelodeon level overacting and plots.

The reboot is terrible, watched about two episodes and put the original series back on
