Ordered a Primary Arms micro prism from them. They had a green version in flat dark earth not available on Primary Arms website and it was cheaper. Also had a camo cerakote version.

Probably 25% of the town economy since the paper plant closed. Good spot to stop if you're in the south Delta area

Group I work for has the Toyota store in Bastrop, so I'm up there usually a couple times every month. Great store there, if its something to do about hunting, and they don't have it, you probably don't need it.

Been in there many times.
The ammo and gun room is something to behold.
They don't just have a case of 3.5" and a few cases of bird shot on a shelf. They have aisles of pallets of every shot, size, gauge or caliber you can think of.

This! I've been in there twice to trade in my old bow and both times have come out with my old one newly tuned and ready for war again.
Archery department is top notch. It's about an hour drive from my house so I make it down there several times a year. Cool store.

I took my grandsons new bow, which I didn’t buy from Simmons, there to get him set up to hunt. Those 2 guys worked with him for an hour setting up the bow, fitting him for arrows and teaching him how to shoot. They only charged me for the accessories but there was no charge for their time. I tipped them very well but was really surprised at no labor charge. Very much appreciated the service.

Everyone should go at some point. Really is awesome. Never found anything there cheaper or easier to get than Spotted Dog or TP, as far as guns and what not but Simmons just has way more of the same stuff in stock. Well more camping and stuff like that but either way a great store if you are up there.
