When I was young I was excited for Washington, Lincoln, Jackson and Grant, but as I aged I longed more for the non president, Franklin, because it’s all about the Benjamin’s.

I've lived under 10 presidents so far, though I would say I was only politically aware for 7 of them.

1. Ronald Reagan
2. George Washington
3. “Silent Cal” Calvin Coolidge
4. Andrew Jackson
5. Richard Nixon
6. Benjamin Harrison
7. Dwight Eisenhower
8. Donald Trump

I don’t really have any favorites after that. Maybe I’d add John Tyler to the list.

8 different Presidents in my lifetime. Carter was POTUS when I was born.

1. Washington, helps colonies ward off the crown

2.Thomas Jefferson, brilliant and main guy behind Declaration of Independence

3. Andrew Jackson, stops the British again before presidency, stops the bankers, last to pay off national debt

4. James Madison, one of the biggest contributors to the Constitution

5. James Monroe, expands the nation greatly westward with the Louisiana Purchase

I'd have to think hard on my next 5

6. Richard Nixon
7. Thomas Jefferson
8. James Madison
9. John Adams
10. Harry Truman (for dropping the bomb without hesitation, and for not using the office to get rich)

Franklin Pierce. When a large pool of college graduates were asked to list all the Presidents of the US, the one left out most often was Pierce.
The same group was asked to list all 50 states. The one left out most often was Delaware. No president was born in Delaware. Biden was from Pennsylvania.

James K. Polk never gets enough credit. Took all of the southwest US via conquest from Mexico. Largest teritorial expansion in US history.
