Facts regarding the Saints current situation…

1. Carr will be the QB of this team next year and probably 2026. Talk of “getting rid of him” is short-sighted. We are not a good destination for a young QB currently. A young QB will not make us a contender right now. Getting rid of Carr now will dig the salary cap hole deeper.
2. We have roster holes all over. This is due to Loomis trading aggressively and giving away too many picks.
3. We are not going to get a high demand coach in this cycle. Get a young unknown, or a veteran who needs a second chance ( I like Flores), or keep Rizzi. Prioritize setting culture and someone players respect with X’s and O’s.
4. Minimum two years before we are really competitive. Our division is so bad it may give us some hope of a playoff birth, but it will be a couple of years before we could be same level with top 3 in conference.
5. We need to prioritize big draft classes and pay as much as possible on dead cap.
7. Loomis is a problem but could be a solution. If he is fired, great. If not, he needs to justify staying by explaining how he’s shifting his strategy. I think he’s a decent GM but he’s been stuck in a delusion that we are closer than we are.

I’m glad you’ve narrowed this down…

All of those seem to be your opinion not facts. Neither you or I know what they’re planning.

So you want a dogshit QB and retread coach.
Pass on all of it.
Rip off the band aid and start over.

And of the 7 points you made, there are no points that can be controlled by those of us that post on a message board. Therefore, we will continue to post about our own interpretation of “Facts regarding the Saints current situation”

New defensive head coach hires haven't won shite in the NFL. Go look at who's coaching the Super Bowl every year.

Your ideas of a coach are laughable. I stopped reading when you listed Flores. Thanks for stopping by.

You lost credibility there.

Facts about your post
1. Opinions are not facts.
2. Taking anyone's opinion seriously is hard when they cannot count to 6 properly.

Why is that laughable? Allen was our most recent hire by Loomis.

Which was laughable at the time. What’s the difference between Flores and Allen? The idea is to upgrade. If that’s who you’re aiming for then might as well have kept Allen!

I'm very apathetic here.
Falcs and Saints have the same problem and they can't fix it because the Owner is committed to perpetuation of the problem. The Saints are even worse off than the Falcs in this department.
I watch NFL Redzone and enjoy the NFL in that manner.
The biggest problem the NFL has is that the Ref corps needs to be more professional and trained.
Sometimes some game seem to be scripted, that is to say, a very decisive penalty or no-call will happen late in the game and a Celebrity Quarterback will be the beneficiary. I suppose it's to be expected because the NFL describes itself as sports entertainment, with emphasis on entertainment.
