You have the propriety covered and smothered

New 8 pt showed up last night. Hocks arent dark yet but starting to cruise as does move in and out the plot
2 yrs ago in this spot, 12-23-22 right at legal shooting hours had a nice 8 well outside the ears at 20 yards but in the darkness trying to flip the safety off he was able to evade me in my haste
6/6 since then but I can still see him….

Between having to switch out buddy heater cans and opening a Christmas tree cake, I may not see anything for a while. Lol

Definitely not the way I expected to get my first deer of the season.
We have a barrel we fill with corn and drill holes in the bottom then tie it to a tree. It’s for hogs so they have to kick the barrel around to get the corn out and don’t sit there and eat 200 pounds of corn in one night.
Well the hogs knocked my barrel over last night and a doe just got her head stuck in the top side of it where we fill with corn

We need a scientific experiment on does a wrapper scare a deer. I opens my cliff bar yesterday like a scene from mission impossible and it took 3 mins.
A lil while later a squirrel was carrying a dried magnolia leaf up to his nest and it made the most awful racket you have ever heard as is scraped the whole way up.
More noise than a whole box of lil Debbie.
