I heard on ‘DSU that Gruden’s name had been floating around as a possible new HC for the Saints.
I just assumed there was no substance to it, but I don’t know…

if Mike McCarthy ends up leaving Dallas, I wouldn't be shocked if he came here.

He’s an upgrade over DA and Glenn. Not sure we can do much better with our roster and cap situation.

We are going get a B level coach for sure. I don't see a top notch candidate putting his name in ring.

Gruden's name will be floated for every opening in the NFL. No one is hiring him, especially in a chocolate city.

I wonder if anyone agrees with me on this: Mike McCarthy was terrible with the Saints. You know how people talk about the "vertical passing game?" McCarthy's offense with the Saints was based around the "horizontal passing game," quite literally. I sat in the Dome the whole time and watched the QB throw the ball 10 yards sideways to gain 1. They did that at least once per series.
When McCarthy left, people acted like he was some kind of genius who would surely lead the Packers to greatness. I was relieved.

we'd be lucky to get mccarthy. he's our best realistic candidate if jerry is dumb enough to fire him. also think nagy, gruden or glenn will be the coach if mccarthy isn't fired.
