What are the craziest sports odds you remember seeing?

The one that has always stood out to me was back around 2000 when betting Tiger to win tournaments was only paying 1:1! Just even odds against an entire field of players.

That was at the peak of Tiger’s dominance. Are you sure you saw this?

Buster Douglas was a 42-1 underdog

I’m sure someone had Leicester 5000-1 to win the Premier League as a lark…
Wonder what you could get for Nottingham Forest this year

1995 Nebraska was playing Iowa State or some Big12 nobody and the spread was - 47.5.....
I was wondering, who the frick would bet this but lookin' back I would've taken the dog and points if we had Online Sportsbooks back then.

Ohio State was -52 vs Rutgers in 2019

This was at the height of running up the score mania to impress voters and it was frowned upon....but never stopped "Dr. Tom".....still would take the points, never knew if a team would take their foot off the gas.
Paterno was maddingly famous for playing his backups once Penn State got up by 3 TDs and the final results were always closer than the actual game and lazy voters routinely punished him for it.

Leicester City's preseason odds the year they won the Premier League. Even the odds at the midway point around Christmas were crazy.

Back in 2007 USC was favored by 41 points over Stanford and Jim Harbaugh. Final score 24 - 23 Stanford.

In 2017 Howard University was 600-1 or 45 point underdog @UNLV. Howard scored 45 points and won by 5.

There was an undefeated horse at Evangeline Downs when I worked there (college summer job) as a teller. People were putting huge money on him. I bet $1 on the longshot to win. It won and paid out $400ish.

werent rams 20,000 to 1, when trent green hurt his knee, the bag boy was going to be QB, and dick vermeil was crying about greens injury, and won the super bowl?

I thought it was +10000. Which was the odds of Arizona State to win the big 12 this year, which they did.

Yes it was 5,000 to 1. You can Google it. It was absolutely unfathomable that a newly promoted side could win the EPL. There is nothing in US professional sports remotely comparable. It’s like New Mexico winning the CFP. The Rams example cited above was +20000 which is 200 to 1.
