Squirrels on the roof

Damn, they make rediculous noises every morning. Any recommendations on keeping the off the roof? They aren’t in the attic. I’ve already checked that

Do you have trees that overhang your house? Electical wires going to a weatherhead? Anything that they will climb on to reach your roof? If so, you'll have squirrels on your roof. At least that's been my experience.

Unfortunately we have trees. They are trimmed about as high from the roof as possible. Just trying to find if there are any options

Not really, unfortunately. Personally, I love watching them run all over the place. I thnk they're hilarious. My dog sees them as a mortal enemy, and I think they love teasing him.

If you have lead sleeves over your roof vent jacks, the squirrels are probably chewing on the lead. This is bad. It can create a gap between the sleeve and the jack that will allow rain to travel to the roof sheathing and even the attic. You can prevent this by installing protective cover over the jack. It's called a Critter Quitter, from Home Depot.

Bolt action .22 with a silencer and subs is an amazing thing. If your neighbors are outside, they won't hear it. All you can hear on mine is the firing pin

It is suprisingly how much noise a squirrel makes when bouncing on your roof!
I have trimmed my trees as well, but recently discovered that they are climbing on my stucco fireplace and getting on the roof. Haven’t quite figured out what to do about that, though.

Put out a Squirrelinator trap on the ground covering corn, safflower seeds, and sunflower seeds on the ground. Once you keep all of the squirrels off of the ground, there won't be any left to get on the roof.

Large rat trap. Peanut butter.
