Cabelas dry plus waders repair

I have an older but lightly used pair of cabela waders that started leaking on my one duck hunt this past season. I used my daughter’s pool the other day to verify the leak is at the fabric to boot connection. It appears the tape is coming unstuck, there are no visible holes. They have always been stored inside. Is this fixable? is there a chance Cabelas will replace them? They are at least 10 years old, but I may have worn them 1 season before my duck hunting dropped off to near nothing.
TIA
TIA

Not a chance. Best chance might be to see if they will give you a discount for your next pair,(lacrosse/danner will do that) but that’s probably a long shot.
Aquaseal FD repair kit is your best bet for repair.

I was returning a bow (never had any issues returning Cabelas products)had a guy next to me with 3 year old boots ,they exchanged on the spot (pre Basspro), would call customer service if you have no location close to you

That’s the kicker… but it’s worth a shot.

If it has the cabelas name on them I would try it. I have heard some crazy stories about them taking returns and doing exchanges on some really old products. Worst they can say is no.

if they won’t replace them you can use the wader repair method that has been used for generations…a tube of silicone caulk
