Jalen Milroe 2025 NFL Draft - Highlights & Comparisons
These guys do a good job of breaking down his film and statistics. They make videos on almost every prospect and just dropped a video on Tyler Warren for those interested.

I can't believe it, but I'm coming around a little bit on Milroe. It would be fun to have an insane athlete like that playing QB. He's got a strong arm and throws a decent deep ball already. If he could develop the rest of his passing game, which is a big if, he could be special. All that being said, I wouldn't draft him in the first round.

Milroe is dumb as a rock

And Lamar Jackson is a rocket scientist

Exactly. It probably won’t work out but it’s fun and at this point what else can you hope for. And if we whiff at 40 is it really that big of a deal?

If Milroe is there in the third, sure. He’s not a first round or second round QB and we’re not in the spot to take one in the early rounds right now. We need to fill out the roster

Yes, maybe, and it's a big maybe, the 5th round

You're disrespecting rocks.

Really? A lot of 4.3 guys hanging around in the 5th that you’d prefer?
The hyperbole on milroe is retarded. At worst you have a big, ultra fast guy who you can design running packages for.

If we had multiple firsts or a stronger roster that’d be a nice luxury…not using a top 10 pick on a part time player

lol. Yeah dude, if you whiff at 40 it’s a real big deal. What kind of comment is that?

Ya'll get on here and say the dumbest shite ever. I'm willing to bet you don't know anything about him.

I’d never advocate for that. I was responding to the guy who said MAYBE a fifth rounder which is just retarded.

Maybe not a lot of 4.3 guy, lot of guys that can pay football and help the Saints win games. But Milroe is not one of those guys.

People keep comparing him to Jalen Hurts because they have the same first name, they both played at Alabama at some point, and they’re both big, fast, black QBs with a sturdy, durable build.
However, Hurts improved his passing skills tremendously at Oklahoma in his final year of college and then improved some more in the NFL.
Milroe, on the other hand, has never shown NFL-caliber passing skills. His passing was wildly inconsistent throughout his college career.
I would be ok with a 4th round pick for him but nothing higher.

Given that KM won a superbowl coaching Hurts I think he’s about as good a judge in the potential ceiling for Milroe in comparison to a guy like hurts as anyone.

Sure. I won’t disagree with that.
If Moore likes him, then maybe he has some tools that we can work with. I don’t know if Moore likes him at all or not though.
