Has anyone had an inground trampoline installed?

What am I looking at as far as price and how much damage they'll do to the yard to install? One company said that landscapers usually put them in.

no offense…are you out of your mind? Trampolines have a three phase lifespan:
1) kids will use it until they are teenagers
2) it will collect leaves and mock you as you curse it
3) you’ll spend a bunch of time trying to give it away or get rid of it

There was one down my street when I was a kid. We spent too many hours on it to count.

All true, but they're only kids for a short while. We bought one of those backyard swingset/rock wall/slide kits about 10 years ago. I think our second child was turning 3, and our oldest was 8. They have both played on it a ton, and now the youngest loves it as well. The boys call it their fort.
Back during Covid, we bought and I installed an in-ground trampoline. Took most of an afternoon, but 4 hours of work and maybe $200 for 8-10 years of the kids having something else to play on is worth it. I used my big gas tiller to bust up the ground. Then stood in the middle and shoveled dirt to the outside. I put stakes in the ground to know where to draw a big circle, then shoveled the middle out and packed that down on the outside. It sits on top of the rim, and has stakes to tie it down. When the youngest eventually outgrows it, I can disassemble it and fill the hole back in. Looks like this one, but ours is 12 feet across instead of the smaller version.

Where I live that hole would start filling with water on it's own before I was finished digging it.

My father put one in back in the mid 60's. I was just a tot but remember every kid in the neighborhood was there daily. He had to buy a bulky arse sump pump to pump rainwater out often. It didn't last long.

do you have to install a pump system or are you just gonna jump in the pond that you're digging for the trampoline?

I forgot about the 4th phase… the trampoline fabric makes the perfect cover on a big compost bin, which is what mine is doing.
