Allegedly tests similar to prov and now guys on tour winning playing it

$120 for 4 dozen so $30 a dozen. Can be even cheaper than that if you have a dicks discount code. Tough to beat that.

I have the app and a rewards program. About twice a year I can get them for 20-30 cheaper than that.

4 dozen for $80-90. Solid ball with an unbeatable price tag.

Been playing them for 2 years or so. Honestly for the money it’s the best ball you can buy.

Been playing the Tour X for a couple months. They do everything I need from the tee and irons and have plenty of spin around the greens

Been playing them for over a year. Went back and bought a case of ProV1 and I prefer the Maxfli TourX. To top it off, they're $25 a dozen cheaper. If you come across 2 balls in the fairway, its easy to tell which one is yours, most likely no one else will be playing a Maxfli. If a bunch of hacks come in your fairway and get close to your ball, its not a prov1 so they will leave it alone.??

I've been playing this ball for the last three years. It's long off the tee, spins around the greens, and is a relative bargain. I've played rounds and compared it to similar balls from Callaway and Titleist and just don't see a difference that justifies switching. It's a great ball.

It is a great ball. I was on here talking about it being the best value out there a year or two ago.

The only complaint I would have against it is that it is not as durable as the ProV. I can play 18 holes with a ProV and it still looks like a decent ball. You play nine holes with the Maxfli and it looks pretty worn out just from normal ball striking, much less if you hit a cart path or something.

The Srixon Z Star is also very comparable to the ProV at a price point in between the Maxfli and ProV.

I used to play Maxfli back in the day and really liked them - they were much more cost-effective. Lately, I’ve been getting into the Snell Prime 4.0s. They’re almost like Pro V1s, but around $35 per dozen. The Snell Prime 3.0 are similar to the Pro V1x.

Has snell shored up their QC?

Snell was a very solid ball pre-covid, then they lost their manufacturing partner to one of the big brands and the replacement manufacturer (as of a year or so ago) was NOT producing a quality product.

I just got the Prime 4.0, so I haven’t played with it for very long and can’t speak to its durability yet. I really liked the Snell MTB - it performed well for me. I’m definitely going to check out the Maxfli Tour balls too, especially if they’re a bit cheaper than the Snells.

I’ve played them my last three outings and really like them. I was shocked. I usually play Callaway Chrome Tours and haven’t noticed much of a difference.

The price tag difference is great too.
