An embarrassing day for the big apple.

I am not being snarky with the socialist moniker either

This is the first DSA party member to be elected to office since eugene debs in the early 1900s.

Terrifying

My great uncle probably voted for him, he passed away in 1974.

Bit of a low point for Cuomo.

This is a primary, not the general election.

I doubt they voted for this guy. They got caught tabulating like thousands of fraudulent ballots a few years ago. Nothing is legit in that city.

Isn't the current mayor running as an independent?

How ironic if the financial hub of the world is run by a socialist.

Yes. The actual election is going to be a shitshow. Republicans and Jewish dems may vote for Adams just so Zohran doesn’t win.

Might help Adams who is running as an independent. How does the city with the most wealth and largest capital markets in the world pick a socialist for the democratic primary? Fortune 500 companies and the wealthy going to be fleeing to Texas and Florida.

Perhaps sometimes, to some extent. But your smug certainty is insufferable.

Probably, but not confirmed yet (time needed to figure out rankings). I personally find it hilarious though

Both parties seriously fricked this race up. GOP might as well not be running anyone, and Cuomo was just a horrible guy to prop up.

DeBlasio was a communist so this isn't surprising

And NYC’s decent deeper into third-world shithole status continues unabated.

I said this in the other thread...I'm all for these types of experiments. If that's what they want, have at it. Let's see how it works out for them.
