Josh Hawley proposed legislation to give Americans Tariff Rebate Checks to offset the tariffs that Trump is imposing on us all.

What? We aren't paying tarriff fees he's talking about a tax rebate, not a "rebate from increase cost due to tarriffs"

Your party is polling lower than at anytime in history. You weren’t allowed to vote on your presidential candidate since 08. Daily it’s some scandal showing how inept your party is. Yet instead of getting on here bashing your own party and how it needs to change your stuck in OMB mode. It’s hilarious, but keep it up it’ll guarantee us the midterms

OK. If we pay no matter what, then let's abolish the income tax system and go straight consumer/tariff system.
I'd much rather go with the system that is less intrusive, doesn't get all up in my personal business, and doesn't personally audit me.

With the billions rolling in from tariffs, we missed a great opportunity to insert into the BBB package that all money raised from tariffs would be applied to the deficit.

Facts REALLY do not sit well with libs. And that's BEFORE the huge swath of tarriff money (again, absorbed by the EU at 0 price increase to consumers) is really rolling in.

Are you denying that the gov was in the black in June? Are you denying the trade deal implicitly states the EU is absorbing the fees and paying them directly to the US at 0 price increase to the consumer?
Even if you DO deny it, your math is terrible because it would be less than 1% change.
