I doubt they hired him to kick down doors and tackle gang members. His hiring shines a spotlight on the dangerous and good work ICE is doing. Not every hire is a 5 star linebacker.

If it helps recruit younger folks to join, which it has already done so, then I think he will serve his purpose. He's a Deputy Sherrif as well so I 'm sure he can hold his own.
